In the years following World War II, the automotive market was teeming with new designs and the Packard Clipper was easily one of the most modern cars on the market.
Mr. Morgan’s ambition was to create the sporting automobile that Packard never did. And as a result this became a passion project of his and he subsequently spent more than $160,000 on the car.

Finished in dark Maroon and accented with black fenders, the dash is woodgrained and the interior is trimmed in beautiful burgundy leather. There is no denying the car’s unique styling and character making it a one of a kind Packard Speedster. This custom creation features many modern amenities- including power windows and seats. The engine bay has had a thorough detailing incorporating several rare period speed parts, including a polished aluminum Edmonds cylinder head and a dual carburetor manifold and breather setup. Similarly the undercarriage has been carefully detailed to show condition.
With little mileage since its completion, this remarkable vehicle offers a unique example of what Packard might have built.
