This 1949 Kurtis is 1 of 36 ever built by racecar builder Frank Kurtis. This little roadster may look small, but carries a Lincoln Flathead V8 engine with an aluminum dual-carb intake that makes this car a speed demon. Sported with an automatic transmission and a Carson top, this dark blue/white roadster is an eye catcher. The Kurtis Company eventually sold to Earl Muntz who produced the Muntz Roadster that is identical to the Kurtis except for some minor changes, such as, an extended wheelbase to create larger interior seating.
